Learn Bridge

Supervised Play and No Fear Duplicate sessions are intended for those who have attended courses or who have some limited experience of playing bridge and who wish to improve their level of expertise.

At both sessions you will play hands with friendly expert tutors on hand to advise and help with problems.

At the end of each session you will be provided with notes, including suggested bidding and play advice about the hands which you have played.

There  are two Supervised  sessions every week throughout the year:

Wednesday Afternoon - 1.30 to 4.30 Supervised Play
A cross between a play session and a lesson.  Selected hands are played, with supervision and help. 

Thursday Afternoon - 1.15 to 4.30 No Fear Duplicate
A duplicate bridge session for novices and improving players, with expert help available. 

Thursday Evening - 7.15 to 10.30    No Fear Duplicate

There is no need to book for these weekly sessions and it is not necessary to come with a partner; there will be someone available to play with you.

Tutors for these sessions include Chrys Poole, Brenda Vitty, Steve Lee, Anders Wallen and Paul Riley.

The cost for each session is £5.00 per person, payable on the day
