Learn Bridge

The course assumes students have covered the basics of bidding and play but it will include lots of revision to consolidate what you learned in your first year classes. It takes the ideas further and includes how to bid very strong hands and those with very long suits. We devote about half the classes to improving your card play.

At the end of the course you will be able to play with confidence at home and at bridge clubs.

This course is designed for players who have attended classes for one year and wish to extend their knowledge of both bidding and play. It is not suitable for people who can already play but wish to improve their game by, for example, bringing their bidding up to date. For 2008/09 there will be a choice of two Continuing Bridge Courses;

Monday afternoon from 1.30 to 3.30 starting on 29th September
Tutor: Chrys Poole

Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 9.30 starting on 1st October
Tutor: Steve Lee

Each course will run for three terms of 10 weeks each.

The cost will be £80.00 for each ten-week course.
